" I was diagnosed with ME in 2007, after having suffered from a severe viral infection which was followed by rapid deterioration of my health. I had many symptoms. The list grew longer and longer in a short time. Lack of energy and fatigue and a chronic cough were the most debilitating of them all. I was so weak that climbing stairs used to leave me completely exhausted and sometimes, I used to half way up the stairs and cry due to frustration and despair. I was tired of medications; I was tired of feeling hopeless. I tried several alternative therapies to no avail.
